Once you’ve decided you want to sell your property the first step is to invite an estate agent round to value your home. This will give you a clear idea of what you can potentially sell your property for in the current local property market, help manage your expectations regarding your next property move and budget and also assist when deciding which estate agent to work with. Your agent will be there for you throughout the selling process offering professional advice and guiding you through each step to make it as stress-free as possible.
Once your property is on the market, a member of the Brand Vaughan team will call you to arrange viewings and put forward offers. All viewings will be accompanied by a member of our staff and, once an offer is received, we will work on your behalf to negotiate and obtain the best possible price for your property.
Once you accept an offer, you will need a solicitor to act for you in order to legally transfer ownership to the buyer. At your earliest convenience, you should provide us with the contact details of your chosen solicitor so we can kickstart the conveyancing process as swiftly and as smoothly as possible. You will also be asked to supply us with proof of ID which will help us to move things along more quickly.
The sale is complete when the money from your property sale (less the deposit) is transferred from the buyer's solicitor's account to your solicitor's account. The agent will release the keys once the money has cleared.
